New Mexico Kicks-off Digital Inclusion Week with Broadband Summit

SANTA FE — The Office of Broadband Access and Expansion (OBAE) is excited to join the New Mexico Broadband Collective at the upcoming Broadband Summit on September 30. This event is serving as a kick-off to the national Digital Inclusion Week. OBAE Director Kelly Schlegel will speak at the summit to offer a high-level overview of the state’s efforts to bridge the digital divide.

Digital Inclusion week is set for October 3-7 and the theme is ‘Turning Our Moment into Movement.’ The campaign offers a chance for organizations and individuals to promote digital equity in communities.

To support this national initiative, the OBAE and the New Mexico Broadband Collective invite all New Mexicans to learn more about statewide broadband efforts.

The summit, “Achieving Broadband Equity in New Mexico,” will explore  plans, ideas, and highlight state, regional, and tribal accomplishments to improve broadband access.
